Banteay Srei is an active member of the Sexually Exploited Minors (SEM) Network. We are committed to working with young people who have been sexually exploited and especially with young people who have engaged in the sex trade, to get the resources and support that they need in order to live safer and happier lives. As an organization, Banteay Srei does not pass judgment on the decisions and experiences that young people have made and gone through.

Support for SEMs
Banteay Srei offers court advocacy, family services (we have networked with organizations that can help translate for Mien, Vietnamese and Cambodian speaking families) and referrals for housing, health services and peer services. Due to the high intensity and amount of time we dedicate to working with our young women, we can only work with young Southeast Asian women and girls. For all other cases, we will gladly provide referrals to appropriate agencies. For more information about our Support for SEMs service, please contact us at banteaysrei@gmail.com

Trainings on SEM issues
Banteay Srei offers customized trainings on SEM issues, particularly in the area of child and teen prostitution. In the past, we have done trainings for healthcare professionals, educators, community-based organizations and parents committees. Our trainings are anywhere from 1-2 hours and are free. During our trainings we talk about high-risk indicators, early intervention techniques, resources and support. If you are interested please contact us at banteaysrei@gmail.com
